How to debug the light steel keel machine?

Friends who produce light steel keels often encounter problems that need to be debugged in the keel machine, such as keel bending, keel waves, and keel twisting. Some problems exist when the machine is purchased, and some problems occur after the production time. When encountering these problems, it is difficult for unfamiliar people to adjust them back to normal. It takes a long-term experience summary or special training to adjust the machine back. Below, we introduce some debugging methods for frequently encountered problems and pass on the experience methods in work to everyone. First, let me tell you a key idea. The ultimate goal of our debugging is to adjust the rollers of the keel machine back to a straight line, and the gap between the upper and lower rollers is basically the same for each group. This is the ultimate goal of debugging. Therefore, during use, you should check the looseness of the screws frequently and reinforce them before the screws loosen, so that the roller deviation problem will not easily occur.

1. Determine the causes of distortion, waves, and bending. When there is left-right twisting or waves, it may be that the rollers are no longer in a straight line, or the left-right gap between the upper and lower rollers of one or several rollers (i.e., one side is high and the other side is low) is uneven. When the product bends up and down, it may be that the upper and lower gaps of one or more rollers are inconsistent.

2. How to adjust the keel machine rollers back to a straight line. When the problem is not very serious, you can check the rollers one by one by jogging (press the forward switch and release it), so that you can roughly check the state of the material when it leaves each roller or enters each roller to see which roller deviates from the straight line. For example, when the material comes out of a roller and is twisted or deformed, you can determine which roller has a deviation, and adjust the gap between the upper and lower rollers by adjusting the left and right positions of the rollers. This method of judgment is sometimes not accurate, because when the keel is produced, the head and tail of the material are twisted and deformed. Therefore, this depends on slowly summarizing at work. When the roller movement deviation is serious, all the upper rollers need to be pulled out and the lower rollers need to be re-adjusted. The method of pulling the wire is: fix the center point of one group of rollers and the next group of rollers, then draw a thin straight line through these two points, and then adjust all the center points of the middle rollers to a straight line.

3. Adjust the gap between the upper and lower rollers. In order to make the gap between the upper and lower rollers uniform and just suitable for the passage of materials. We need to adjust them in groups. The premise is that the rollers are in a straight line, and then put the materials in, and the rollers pass the materials one by one. When passing to a certain roller, the left and right screws of the upper roller are adjusted downward at the same time until they are tightened, and then the left and right screws are loosened one or two turns. The actual looseness depends on your own grasp and slowly adjust. Some masters will use a small mirror to illuminate on one side and a flashlight to transmit light on the other side in order to better accommodate the gap situation, so that the gap between the upper and lower rollers can be seen. In this way, the rollers are adjusted one by one, and it can basically be normal. If there is no problem with the roller design itself, the debugging methods mentioned above can generally be adjusted to a normal state through these methods. Some specific details need to be mastered slowly during the debugging process.
