What are the precautions for operating a light steel keel machine?

Dec 28, 2024

Here are some precautions when operating a light steel keel machine:

Before operation

Equipment inspection

Carefully check whether the connecting bolts of each part of the light steel keel machine are tightened to prevent component displacement, equipment damage,or safety accidents caused by loose bolts during operation.

Check if the tension of transmission components such as chains, belts, etc.is appropriate.Being too loose may cause transmission slippage and affect production efficiency;Tightness will increase component wear and shorten service life.At the same time, check the lubrication of the transmission components and add lubricating oil according to regulations to ensure smooth operation.

Check the electrical system to ensure that there is no damage or aging of wires and cables, that all control buttons and switches are functioning properly, and that the grounding device is reliable to prevent electric shock accidents and electrical faults.

Check if the mold installation is correct and secure.Mold is a key component that determines the quality of light steel keel forming.Improper installation can lead to problems such as keel size deviation and irregular shape.

stores reserve

Ensure that the quality of the raw materials used, such as steel strips, meets the requirements. The thickness and width of the steel strip should be uniform, and there should be no obvious scratches, rust or other defects on the surface, otherwise it may affect the forming quality of the light steel keel and even damage the equipment.

According to production requirements, place the steel strip correctly on the feeding rack, and adjust the position and angle of the feeding rack so that the steel strip can smoothly enter the light steel keel machine.

In operation

Personnel requirements

Operators must undergo professional training and be familiar with the operating procedures and safety precautions of the light steel keel machine. It is strictly prohibited for untrained personnel to operate the equipment without authorization.

Operators should concentrate their attention during the operation process and should not leave their posts, wander around,or do anything unrelated to the operation, such as playing with their phones or chatting.

Operation monitoring

Pay close attention to the operation status of the equipment, including the sound and vibration of the equipment. If any abnormal sound or severe vibration is found during the operation of the equipment,it should be stopped immediately for inspection, and the fault should be eliminated before continuing to operate to avoid further damage to the equipment.

Pay attention to the forming quality of light steel keel, such as the dimensional accuracy, surface flatness, and deformation of the keel.Once quality issues are discovered, adjust equipment parameters or molds in a timely manner to ensure the production of qualified products.

Pay attention to the temperature changes of the equipment, especially the heating components such as motors and reducers. If the temperature is found to be too high, the machine should be stopped to check if the cooling system is normal,in order to avoid equipment damage caused by overheating.

Safe operation

During the operation of the equipment,it is strictly prohibited to touch moving parts such as rollers, chains, etc.with hands to prevent accidents that may cause injury due to entanglement. If it is necessary to clean the equipment or troubleshoot, the machine must be stopped and the power must be cut off first, and the operation can only be carried out after the equipment has completely stopped running.

When the equipment malfunctions or in an emergency situation, the emergency stop button should be immediately pressed to cut off the power and prevent the accident from escalating. At the same time, promptly notify professional maintenance personnel for handling, and do not blindly repair on your own.

After operation

Equipment cleaning

After turning off the power of the equipment, clean the surface and interior of the equipment of any remaining iron filings, dust, and other debris to prevent them from corroding the equipment components or affecting the next operation of the equipment. For key components such as molds, they should be carefully cleaned and coated with an appropriate amount of rust proof oil to prevent rusting.

Equipment maintenance

Perform daily maintenance on the equipment, such as adding lubricating oil to each lubrication part, checking the wear of each component, and replacing severely worn components in a timely manner to extend the service life of the equipment.

Keep good records of equipment operation, including equipment running time, production product quantity, equipment failure situation, etc.,to provide a basis for equipment maintenance and management.
